GNYHA Ventures, Inc.

GNYHA Ventures, Inc., a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), provides an array of business services to the more than 300 hospital and continuing care GNYHA members. Through numerous subsidiaries, GNYHA Ventures operates companies that provide diverse services to its members. Services include group purchasing to acute and non-acute health care providers, as well as supply chain, process improvement, expense management and revenue enhancement. Each service is designed to improve the quality and efficiency of patient care delivered by hospitals, continuing care facilities, and other healthcare providers. The GNYHA Ventures' family of companies operates throughout the U.S. and is responsible for more than $5 billion in healthcare commerce.

For several years, GNYHA's leadership had been pursuing a separate, but parallel track to WPC, LLC to establish a comprehensive "medical mart" in New York City. In 2007, the paths of WPC, LLC and GNYHA crossed and, in view of their shared goals, the organizations joined forces to help make World Product Centre a reality.
